FAQs
- What does Soapilities mean?
Soap + Possibilities. When it comes to hand made soap, different combinations of ingredients can be used. Ingredients can come from plants, fruits, nuts, and other organic sources. On top of that, essential oils can be added to give a scent to the soap, or add a property that otherwise wouldn't be in the soap. For example, Lavender oil is known to have calming properties. The possibilities for soap making is only limited by money and imagination.
- How should I take care of my soap?
Since handmade soap doesn't contain any of the chemicals that store bought soap contain, it is recommended that after use, the soap bar be put into a soap container. Any standard size should do. Otherwise the soap will melt from constant exposure to water.
- Will you add any more soap/other products to your store?
Yes! We are currently in works to creating other soap bars but just not ready yet to release. We will never offer a product that has not been tested and we are not 100% satisfied in.
- Do you take custom orders?
At this time, unfortunately, we do not, but hope to be able to offer custom orders in the future. However, we can take requests that have to do with changing or leaving out a scent or essential oil. For example, if someone has a nut allergy and may want to try a bar that has a nut oil, an alternative ingredient can be used. These request orders are done in batches, which comes out to 12-13 bars. A non-refundable deposit is required upfront. If you have any questions about custom requests, feel free to email us at soapilities@gmail.com
- What method do you use to make soap?
Our soap is made using the hot process method. The main factor being time. Hot process soap can be used as soon as 24 hours of being fit into a mold. Cold process soap is something we would like to offer in the future.
